Our new friend Buddy is wondering what in the world just happened to his life. One minute he's living his life in a home that he knows with a family that he loves, the next minute he is brought to a strange place and doesn't know what went wrong. What makes it even tougher for Buddy is that he is blind. This adorable little guy is about 9 years old and he was transferred to us from our Newark facility after he was turned in by his family who are moving and can't take Buddy along. Buddy is doing amazingly well and he is already settling in and making new friends. It just shows you what a loving and resilient little guy Buddy is, that he is putting his faith in strangers to take care of him. Buddy is a chihuahua mix with a long and fluffy coat. He is so calm, gentle, and mellow, and all Buddy wants is to be held and made to feel safe and loved. Buddy is a perfect little gentleman that sits perfectly when asked and is very polite. He is so happy to curl up in your lap and get some attention and he is very affectionate and friendly too. He would do best in a commotion-free, quiet home, and one that is easy to navigate. He he has been blind for quite some time and gets around very well. He doesn't seem to mind other mellow, well behaved dogs and would prefer a home with no small children.
