Kiwi's Story...
Sweet KIWI was rescued from the mass population of street strays of this type breed (Fox Terrier and Chihuahua) in Fresno farming community of Visaliia. She was given a family experience and learned from another dog of similar breed, to be a wonderful pet. Unfortunately that family has been advised they cannot keep her, and their lease is only good for one dog and with two small children cannot risk eviction.

KIWI is a sweet, fun loving young girl who is great with other dogs, toddlers, kids, and big people too! She’s is in desperate need of a loving forever home.

For more information, please contact Rebecca. An application, home check, adoption contract and adoption fee are required for all adoptions. KIWI can be seen by appointment. For adoption consideration, please download and complete an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiwi, a Santa Monica Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Toy)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
