My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KITTY
1.5 year old, Female, Tea-Cup Silver-Shaded Persian, Declawed

COURTESY POST: Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.

There are some moments in life when you see a picture of a little cat and your heart does a flip...that’s exactly what happened to me when I saw her pictures. Oh, my, I thought to myself, what an exquisite, absolutely gorgeous, little doll this itty bitty kitty is. She is a little over 5 lbs and is a Designer Cat...I had never even heard of a Designer Cat before, but apparently she is bred to be very small, She was declawed right from the beginning – yikes--and she is oh, so very sweet, innocent, and loving. She deeply bonds with her humans and will need a kind, caring, and careful human who appreciates this dainty little girl.

She was purchased by a well-meaning daughter for her mother. Kitty’s human mom recently passed away leaving Kitty wandering around, sad and lonely. She was so upset by the loss of her loving human companion that she peed on the bed and couch where her mom used to be. It is often a kitty’s way of showing that something is amiss in her life.

Her current caretaker (the son of Kitty's deceased mom) took her to the vet, who detected urinary crystals. She has been switched to high quality wet food only to prevent further issues with crystals. Since then, she has started to use her litterbox more appropriately. Her caretaker told me that when he took Kitty to the vet, she was very well behaved on the ride and while at the vet, she purred up a storm apparently enjoying the attention she received from everyone. A precious little fur ball with a purr motor...how adorable is that?

Kitty loves to be brushed, including her sweet little face. According to her caretaker she is still a kitten at heart. She likes to chase strings and does a slip and slide on the hardwood floors. One can only imagine how adorable she must look while at play...well, and even while asleep. Kitty likes to sit on your lap, where she purrs and sleeps. She is also a little bed companion. I am sure you have to be extra careful not to crush this petite little cutie.

Since she is such a special treasure and her caretaker is very concerned that we will find her a great, loving FOREVER home, we will only adopt her to someone who is very familiar with Persians, who doesn’t have dogs or any other pets or small children and who has a very stable home situation. This little girl deserves only the best, having already suffered by the loss of her beloved human.

If you would like more information about this exquisite tiny beauty, please contact Frauke at 925-784-8244 or loveallcats7@gmail.com or send an Adoption Application.
Please note that Kitty is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with her caretaker in Walnut Creek, CA while being placed in her new home. Special Adoption Fee.
