Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This big, beautiful bullmastiff is Ginger, a 6 year old girl that is dreaming of a great home of her own. Don't worry, Ginger is much happier than she seems in her pictures, but we have to wonder if she is thinking about when in the world she will be able to go home. Ginger came to us from our Newark facility when she was given up by her family who were moving to a place where Ginger was not allowed. This poor girl had a terrible cold and was not eating well for her first few weeks with us but with lots of good medical care and TLC, Ginger is thriving now and loving life once again. She is looking forward to start interviewing potential families that can offer her a loving, forever home. Ginger is a gentle giant that is easy going, mellow, and well behaved. She walks very well on a leash and has excellent manners. Ginger sits instantly when she's asked and even offers a pawshake for a treat. She enjoys going in our exercise yard and roaming around to check things out and sniff at who was there before her, but she doesn't have much interest in chasing after toys and would rather sit beside you to get some attention. Ginger did well meeting other dogs and would do best with larger dogs and more mature children. She is hoping to get noticed quickly and spend the rest of her life in a wonderful home with a family that loves her. File#25589 10/2/15
