Freddy's Story...
Freddy had been living on the streets along with three other dogs for quite some time until he was rescued by Hope For Paws who was unable to find any owner. We took Freddy into our rescue and will find him a perfect forever home. Freddy is approximately 2-3 years old and he weighs about 15 pounds. He is initially shy with new people but once he gets to know you he does fine. He does not liked to be picked up so it will take time to earn his trust. He will need someone who is patient and who will continue working with his shyness of humans. He is good with calm dogs his own size and is a very smart little boy. He is still learning to trust but once he does, he enjoys pets and love. Freddy will need a calm household with an experienced dog owner.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freddy, a San Pedro Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
