My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✰✰ CHIP, 12 Months of Age and AVAILABLE - for more photos of CHIP please click http://norcalbcrescue.org/chip2015 ✰✰

CHIP is a 12 month old sweetheart of a boy. He has a soft, easy care smooth coat with classic markings. CHIP loves his people and will gladly snuggle up and look up at you with adoring eyes. He is a medium energy boy who loves to run and play with his foster pack mates, but will settle at your feet when the house is quiet. CHIP can be a little shy when first meeting new people or dogs, and will bark a little until he gets a sniff and a pet, then he is fine. CHIP is a young boy who needs some time and attention to gain some confidence and he will blossom into a wonderful companion. He is smart and very eager to please his human. CHIP likes the ball and toys and may be a candidate for agility.

CHIP gets along well with his foster pack of all sizes. He is a bit cat curious, but shows no aggression towards them. He would do best with a dog savvy cat if there are cats in the house. CHIP is a well mannered house guest who is potty trained with no accidents in the house. He sleeps easily in his crate at night. CHIP loads up easily and rides well in the car. He is food and praise motivated and takes direction well. He is working on his leash training, and is coming along very quickly. As with all dogs, CHIP just needs a stable loving home and some basic training and he will love you forever.

CHIP is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application (http://norcalbcrescue.org/adopt_info.html) and wish to enquire about CHIP, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

CHIP is being fostered in Folsom in Sacramento County, California.
