Lexi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lexi's Story...
I'm a two-year old Shih Tzu mix and weigh about 10 pounds. I was rescued from the county shelter where my owners dropped me off because they did not want me anymore. Since I was scared in this noisy and unfamiliar environment I was in danger of being euthanized. Thankfully the team from Carrie On Rescue was able to save me before it was too late.

I'm a very loving, gentle girl who is as sweet as can be and a joy to be around. I'm fabulous with everyone I meet - I'm wonderful with other dogs, cats, kids...you name it! I love to give kisses and enjoy gentle pets. In addition, I'm already house trained. I ride nicely in the car and walk well on the leash.

I will be a fantastic canine companion for any nice family or person. Oh, and did you notice my new hair cut? I just had a little make-over at the groomer's and I look and feel great! (before and after photos shown)

I am spayed, current on my vaccines, licensed and micro chipped.

Please contact Carrie On Rescue at carrieonrescuers@hotmail.com or call them at (480) 603-7680 if you have any questions about me and to set up a time to meet me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexi, a Gilbert Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
