Justin. 6 yr old mitted tabby Norwegian Forest Cat. Front paw declaw.
Justin is one elegant cat. He was surrendered to the shelter because the landlord said he had to go. That is the reason that Purebreds Plus checks with landlords BEFORE we send a cat home. But I digress.
As I said, Justin is a very elegant boy. He sits in nice poses but, of course, each time he does so, the lighting is wrong and we can't get the picture. Alternatively, as soon as he sees us looking at him, he thinks it's an invitation to socialize and gets up to visit. Right now, we just have a couple of pictures but we will try to get more and better ones; unless someone smart gets to Vacaville and adopts him before we get a chance to do so. In that event, we will sit back and wait for update photos from the lucky new family.
Justin is a quiet kitty. Did I mention, he is elegant? His fur is like the softest silk and doesn't seem to mat up at all. He prefers a quiet environment and loves to sit with his foster mom. He is also a pillow kitty and sleeps with his foster parents every night. He is the kind of cat that reaches out a paw to tap your face when he wants you to pet him. He is the current house favorite of his foster mom in a house full of extraordinary cats.
Justin can co-exist nicely with other polite cats, but is also willing to stand up for himself if a rambunctious youngster gets in his face. He would be just as happy to be an only cat. Regardless of whether there is another cat in the home, Justin needs to be in an environment that is stable and where he will get lots of one on one time. He also doesn't like dogs. He has gotten used to sleeping in the same bedroom with a very large old dog, but he certainly also ducks for cover when the dog is coming up the stairs.
