Meet Bruce. He is a 1 1/2 year old Hound mix who originally came from Montgomery Co., NC and was adopted into a good home but Bruce was very scared of the husband even though he had never done anything to him. The husband is tall with a deep voice so we think Bruce was possibly abused in the past by someone that resembles him. Bruce was not aggressive towards the husband. He just barked at him and then left the room so he didn't get to be with his family. Bruce is doing GREAT in his foster home! He has had several visitors and while he will bark at new men and take his time to warm up, he has not shown any concerning behaviors. He lives with a 10 year old and previously lived with 3 children ranging in age from 3-8 and has done fine with all of them. He is house and crate trained and up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. Bruce LOVES to play with other dogs and gets along well with them. He is living with cats and generally ignores them. He is a super sweet dog that wants someone to love him.
