Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blake is a playful, sweet, loving and well-trained, two-year-old, 48-pound, female Golden-doodle looking for a loving guardian.
Blake loves people and other dogs. She is also absolutely fine with cats. She is perfectly housebroken, crate-trained and non-destructive in the home. She curls up nicely in bed with her family at night.
While Blake loves everyone, she can be a bit hesitant at first when she meets someone new and has the loudest bark. However, within minutes she is everyone’s best friend. She loves to run in the yard with other dogs and play with toys.
Blake is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed, de-flead, tested for heartworm and on monthly preventative. She does have a very sparse coat. The vet has ruled out mange, fleas and thyroid problems. So, Blake is currently on a special hypoallergenic diet, taking twice weekly baths, and is taking allergy medication as well as omega-3 fatty acids to see if that helps her fur grow in. She’s fantastic for her baths, great in the car and loves going on walks.
If you’d like to meet and possibly foster or adopt Blake, please contact Sheri directly at sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. She is currently being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. Her adoption fee of $500 includes her food, toys and everything you need to care for her.
