Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our little friend Trix seems to think that he's all that and a bag of chips, and we must agree! This spunky maltese is about 4 years old and is dreaming of a great home of his own. Trix came to us from our Newark facility after he was picked up as a stray. He was quite a dirty and disheveled mess upon arrival but after a long spa day, Trix felt like a whole new pup. When he was neutered, our veterinarian discovered that he had dental disease that was left untreated for quite some time, so most of his teeth had to be removed. Although his tongue hangs out a little now, Trix is feeling terrific and is ready to meet his special someone. Trix is very outgoing and while he is well behaved, mellow and quiet, when it's time to go out for a walk, Trix announces himself to the world and is full of spunk! He is overjoyed to go for walks and check out the world around him, and he enjoys playing too. Trix is very polite and is quite the gentleman, and he doesn't mind being held and cuddled either. He seems interested in other dogs and loves everyone he meets. Trix is ready to start life over with a loving family that will care for him forever. File#25717 10/30/15
