Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our new friend Schwartz rarely stops smiling these days and he really has a lot to smile about! Schwartz came to us as a stray that was starving and neglected. He was just skin and bones and had lots of hair missing from a terrible flea infestation. That is all a distant memory now because with good medical treatment and lots of good meals, Schwartz is feeling like a new pup! He has put on weight and his hair is growing back, now he just needs a great family to make his life complete. Schwartz is about 6 years old and he is 100% lab in a mutt-type body. He has a sweet and loving lab personality too and his whole rearend wiggles when you give him some attention. Schwartz is a real people-person that just loves making new friends. He is very outgoing and sociable and he's well behaved too. Although he is strong, he walks well on a leash and will sit and lay down as soon as you ask him to. Nothing makes Schwartz more happy than to flop on his back for a belly rub and even in our exercise yard, he prefers to be by your side rather than playing with toys or running around. Schwartz doesn't seem to mind other dogs and he just loves people of all ages. He is hoping that his beautiful smile and bubbly personality will get him noticed by a great family real soon.
