Lilly's Story...

Lilly has really come out of her shell, she loves attention and even has started waging her tail. She participated in an adoption event and did great with everyone she met. She would love to find a home where she can go with her best friend Suzy. They love each other

Lilly is definitely reserved, she is not very trusting yet. She will wag her tail at me. She is not sure about the petting she makes a funny face. Lilly is having her spa day on Monday so after pictures will be posted.

These are definitely Lilly's "Before" pictures! It was a hard and scary day of transport from Missouri to Wisconsin!
Lilly is a 6year old white Shih Tzu who got lucky and was released last week from a Missouri breeding facility. Lilly and all the dogs who arrived with her are settling into their foster homes, just waiting to be discovered by their new forever families!
Since these precious little “rescues” have never lived outside a kennel, they may require extra patience while they learn to trust humans, potty outside, and enjoy the lives they deserve. The transformation from timid insecure dog to lovable canine companion is truly amazing! Please contact this dog’s listed foster for the most accurate details of her personality.
Lilly is fostering in Johnsburg, IL. Her adoption fee is $300. Please contact Julie at dogcrazy623@comcast.net or (224) 688-9782 for more information on Lilly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Union Grove Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Union Grove, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Union Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
