My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sparky is a playful Goffins. He likes to chase the broom while you sweep. Running on the back of the sofa while you toss a Kleenex is great fun. Bed time flapping is a must on Sparky’s agenda. He loves a spray bottle bath and becomes quite animated and will hang upside down to get the under side all wet. He is truly a sweet bird that likes everyone, with a particular fondness to boys between the ages of 8 and 15. Sparky is learning to talk and says “Hi whatcha doing, hello baby, I love you, ohhh sweet boy.” However, Sparky likes a quiet calm environment. He can not be in a household with several small children as this leads to him becoming nervous and shredding or pulling his feathers out. A home visit is required prior to finalization of every adoption. Adoptions are not first come, first served; we strive to find the most appropriate home for each bird.
