Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beautiful, bright eyed girl is Juno, a 5 year old husky that is dreaming of a fabulous home of her own. Juno was turned in when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. Juno was quite distraught at first and even went on a hunger strike for a little while, but that's all in the past and she is now well adjusted and eager to begin her search for a new, loving family. Juno may come off as a little shy when you first meet her but it takes her literally only seconds to decide that you're her best friend. Once she gets comfortable with you, she'll zoom around you and hop like a bunny, wiggling her chubby rearead all the while. Juno is a bit on the heavy side, so she will need plenty of long walks and exercise. She loves going in our exercise yard and checking out everything there is to see and smell and she is very well behaved on the leash too. Juno is gentle and polite, and she sits nicely when asked. She is easy going and mellow, and rather quiet for a husky. She has lived with larger dogs and gets along fine with them, but doesn't know quite to make of small dogs. Juno is sweet and loving, and just wants someone to give her some attention and love her forever. File#25770 11/20/15
