Max is an adorable, happy, sweet, gentle and loving gem of a two-year-old, nine-pound, male, white with brown Chihuahua/Rat Terrier-mix with an endearing buck-teeth looking for a loving guardian.

Max has a wonderful temperament and loves to sit in your lap. He is all love and his tail is always wagging happily. He loves to go on walks and is great on leash.

Max is wonderful with people of all ages – including children, and he gets along with select other dogs.

Max is very healthy, de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on preventative. Max is currently staying at rescue headquarters at 5430 N. Clark Street in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. The rescue is moving by the end of the month and it would be wonderful if he could find a loving home before that!
