My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Snoop, the Bug. That's a backwards Beagle-Pug mix if you didn't know. You see most beagle/pug mixes look like a pug, just with a beagle nose and ears. I've got those, but I've also got the beagle size, and the beagle color. I'm strong and stocky like a pug, and my tail stays all curled up on my back like a pug. Foster mom says the funniest thing about me though is that I have the pug bark until I get REALLY excited, then the beagle in me comes out. I'm telling you I'm all backwards!

I am a big strong boy, and very stocky. I have a fenced yard here to play in and I love it! Just don’t leave me out there to get bored, I came to BREW because I got bored in my last yard several times. I LOVE to cuddle with the people here. My favorite spot is on the couch right next to your leg (or in your lap if you’ll let me). I also love to give kisses! Foster Mom says I have a tongue like a snake it’s so long! I also like playing with the other dogs here. My foster brother is about 6 months old, and I tell you he’s crazy. He’s a little much for me at times, but I do love chasing him around the dining room table when I get in the mood…ok, ok so I’m in the mood about everyday, but who’s counting. I also am great with kids. There are these people who come over that have a very little girl, and she likes to play with my ears and my tail and I don’t mind one bit. The other day she was using me as a pillow on the couch, and I just laid there and let her.

I'm totally housetrained and crate trained, and I go in it with very little fuss while the people are at work (especially if there’s a treat involved). Foster mom thinks that I would do just fine in the house without the crate, but she wants to make sure I’m used to it. At night I sleep in a bed made just for me that’s on the floor in the people’s bedroom. I’d really like to be on the big bed, but if they tell me to get in my bed, I will go without a problem. I'm not really a chewer in the house, although the doctor says my teeth look like I was when I was younger, but I do like rawhides. Mostly I just want to be with the people no matter where you are. How would you like a bug in your house?
