Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Shiloh. My foster parents call me "Shy" for short, but I'm really not shy at all! I really like just about every human or other dog I've ever met. I even like my foster sister, who can be a pretty bossy beagle girl sometimes. Even when she barks at me because she's hoarding her toys, I don't really get upset. I know she just needs to work on sharing. Plus sometimes she and my foster brother will play king of the hill with me and I think that's just the best game ever.
I don't live with kids or cats right now, but I've encountered some little ones while on walks and don't mind them petting me one bit. Really, anyone can pet me whenever they want. I sure do like a little rub around the ears.
There are a couple of things you should know about me though. I can jump pretty high. I haven't tried jumping a fence ever, but my foster parents think that due to my amazing jumping abilities that I should never be left unattended in a yard. I also sometimes get a tiny bit car sick, so my new family should be prepared for that also if we go on a trip.
My foster parents want to say something too. But please keep me in mind if you're looking for a friendly beagle boy! I'd love to have a home of my very own!

Shiloh is a handsome and mellow beagle boy. Shiloh was rescued along with dozens of other doggies from the June Midwest floods. He’s extremely trusting and good natured right from the start. He would do fine as an only dog, but would shine with a brother/sister beagle to play and snuggle with. Although reluctant to get into his crate during the day, he’s content to stay and has no problem holding it until his foster parents get home after a full work day.
