My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, my name is Ruthann, but I also go by Ruthie. I ’m a beagle who has been through a lot recently, but I’m still a loving girl despite it all. Foster mom says there is a Beatles song that describes me very well. It goes a little something like this…Arrrrrooooo!!! Oops! I guess I can’t sing in human words. How about I just write some of the lyrics here:

What do I do when my love is away.
(Does it worry you to be alone?)
How do I feel by the end of the day
(Are you sad because you're on your own?)

N,o I get by with a little help from my friends,
I get high with a little help from my friends,
Oh, I'm gonna try with a little help from my friends.

Do you need anybody?
I need somebody to love.
Could it be anybody?
I want somebody to love.

Foster mom says these lyrics are perfect for me because I love people so much and I just want to find somebody to love who will love me back. And the people at BREW certainly helped me get by during my rough times. Yeah, I was kind of mess when I came to BREW, but they helped me get better so that I could find my furever home. I’m not too picky about where I go, but I would probably be happiest if I were in a somewhat quiet home where I didn’t have to be left alone too much. I’m also looking for someone who likes to cuddle and doesn’t mind that I’m a bit of a couch potato, although I am always up for walks. I don’t mind cats at all, but it took me a few days to be relaxed around my foster brothers and sister. Now we get along pretty darn well. Of course, I wouldn’t mind being the only dog in the house because then I would get all of the attention. Anyway, I hope to find my furever home soon because I really do just want somebody to love.
