Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi!! My name is Cooper and my foster Mom says I am adorable AND that I am special because I am deaf. I am a good baby who has housebreaking down pretty good for a puppy AND I respond to sign language for potty!! That's how smart I am! I love to chew as my baby teeth are coming in as well as run in my fenced yard but I still tire very easily and take many naps a day. I like my crate for the most part but sometimes I will let my foster mom know I am not happy by crying, then I go to sleep. I need a special fur-ever home with another fur friend,a fenced yard, a two legged friend to help me to understand sign language, touch and treat, train me AND lots of patience, as I am "just a baby!"
Do you have what it takes to be my forever parents?
My foster Mommy lives in Dayton, Ohio
Please note, that due to my special situation, I will require a very special home.
Please read below before applying for me. My special needs are:
1.Another fur friend (will screen applications)
2. An above ground fenced yard. NO ELECTRIC FENCES!
3.A two legged friend to help me to understand sign language, touch and treat, train me AND lots of patience, as I am "just a baby!"
4. A human that is home most of the time
5. NO YOUNG CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 9
***If you cannot meet these requirements, we ask that you NOT apply. We will REQUIRE a site visit too by one of our volunteers.
If you are interested in this dog, please submit an application on our website. Our organization is run by volunteers and it is hard for them to answer all the emails that come in about dogs. Once we receive your application, an interviewer will call you and try to answer any additional questions you may have. Our application can be found at http://www.tristatecollierescue.org/ under the adopt tab. Thank you.
