Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Minky. 7-10 month old Sealpoint Balinese
Minky came to us along with three other adorable juvenile kitties; maybe we should call them juvenile delinquent kitties because they are certainly having a rowdy time in their foster home. This gang of young cats has so much fun playing that their foster mom can hear them thundering around upstairs. When that happens, their foster mother refers to them, not as cats, but as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Seriously, though, its is a wonderful thing to see. When they first arrived in foster care, they were so scared they were hissing at everything, even themselves! They were just upset and afraid after being dumped in a shelter and then taken on a long car drive to a strange house. In short order, however, they came out of their shells and are now extraordinarily loving and attracted to humans.
Minky has been the shyest of the kitties. He's still keeping himself to the quieter areas of the house, although he is fine with humans in those areas. His foster mom is able to pick him up and cuddle him and he is getting better about joining the other cats on the bed for snuggle time. We expect that he will blossom in a quieter environment that doesn't include two large dogs and one very loud cockatoo. He is very playful, and loves a variety of toys and kitty games. He'll be a great companion cat and a beautiful ornament to decorate your home.
Minky has striking coloring and markings. He will have rich seal points on his head, ears, feet and tail. The body of his coat is very light, although at his age, it's hard to know how deep the color of his body will be. Minky got his name because he feels like a mink coat. If your grandmother had one of those back in the day, then you know what that feels like! That is VERY soft fur! When you pet him it feels like you are petting a cloud.
