Mickey's Story...
Meet Mickey, an adorable 1 year old Pittie mix looking for a loving home. He is a cuddly guy who will snuggle in to your lap for some hugs and petting. He is great around kids and would love to become part of a family with kids so he could have playmates and little ones to cuddle up and watch movies with. Mickey is alright with quiet/calm dogs, and needs a slow introduction to become properly acquainted. However, he needs a home without cats. We are requiring his future family to bring in any current canine siblings to meet him before adoption. We want to do our best to ensure a harmonious start at his new life. Mickey's adoption fee is $160 and includes his vaccines, deworming, fecal exam, heartworm test, registered microchip, and neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mickey, a Joliet Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Joliet, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
