Paisley's Story...

Favorite Things: People, prancing alongside people, loving people, being petted by people, and friendship with people!!

Bright and beautiful Paisley seeks her life companion! If you couldn’t tell, she thrives around people—she is eager to please and feels most secure by your side. Paisley’s confidence soars when practicing positive reinforcement training!

Paisley has little to no vision in her right eye – we’re not sure what happened, but our Veterinarian is confident that she isn’t in any pain. For her comfort it’s good to be aware about approaching her on the left and helping her in unfamiliar areas if necessary.

With love, enrichment, gentleness and patience, Paisley will ultimately be the dog who changes your life for the better!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paisley, a Truckee German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Truckee, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Truckee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Truckee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Truckee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Truckee paves the way for another one to be saved.
