Salem has had it rough. This VERY kind girl was listed on a "buy, sell, trade" site, VERY, VERY pregnant, to be given to anyone for quick cash. She had been bred several times and they were tired of her. A few rescues jumped into action to make sure she didn't end up in another bad situation, and she came to us. She went into labor in one of our fabulous foster homes in mid-October. She gave birth to 11 puppies (10 live), but kept laboring for several hours, so we took her to the vet for an x-ray. This resulted in an emergency c-section and our 12th (11 live) total puppy. Salem is a GOOOOOOOD girl, and probably in the top 10 nicest dogs ever. She had some complications from her spay and thanks to our wonderful community, she has pulled through and thrived!
Salem is verry smart, loving and wants to sit on your lap all day. She wants to please and understands everything you say...we really believe this! She is a very good girl who minds her manners and sleeps well in her crate. Excellent with kids, cats and loves to be with other dogs. She is a GREAT girl and an all around perfect companion.
Salem's adoption fee is $200. <p> All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.
ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. DO NOT USE THE PETFINDER/ADOPTAPET CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those--only submitted applications will receive a response. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. Because we are volunteer based and a home visit is required, we have a two hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions, though rare, may be made on a case by case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
