My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Madame Zulu
7-8 year old, Female, Silver Spotted, Semi Exotic Bengal

COURTESY POST: Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.

If kitties could talk, M.Z. would probably be telling you the following story:
“I am your stereo typical one-person kitty girl. I am a very sweet lap cat and love my one owner. Being in her lap is what makes me happy. If it would just be me and my owner, my own world would be just purrfect. Alas, I am not the only kitty in the household and that just makes me sad. My owner cares for me so much that she wants me to be happy, so she contacted this wonderful organization called Purebreds Plus that she has been following them for quite some time. She is impressed with how they handle finding great homes for great kitties such as myself.

I know this may not resonate with everyone, but I am looking to find myself that one special human who totally gets me. I don’t like dogs, I am not good with children 'cause they just scare me, and I could really care less, but, okay, I have to admit it: I just don’t like other felines.

My current owner thinks I was a “cage cat” before she got me from a breeder. Some breeders just don’t treat us with care and love. They just use us to make money, so we often don’t get socialized nor do we receive any special affection and attention. That means that sometimes I will act shy and skittish. I was used for breeding purposes, and my current owner got me after they retired me from having kittens.

However, I love to play, especially with feather on a string toys. I have been let outside and am known to be a great mouser and hunter. I am very dainty and delicate in nature...a true lady as my current owner classifies me. I really like it when I am being petted soft and gentle. I will flop over at your feet and kneed the ground or a blanket.

I have a very pretty and silky soft coat, if I say so myself. I was not born with this pixie tail, but broke it a few years ago and had to have it amputated. My current owner has no clue what happened, and I can’t disclose what happened, either.

I am happy to tell that I am litterbox perfect and I don’t have any health or dietary issues.
So if you are a single-kitty person who treasures a lap kitty and you are accepting of my true kitty nature, then please consider adopting me. I may take a while to warm up to you, but once you and I have become BFF, I will reward you with love and affection and will keep your lap warm.
Thank you for reading my bio. I am looking forward to meeting you. Sending you meows and purrs from M.Z."
