It appears this sweet girl was abandoned in a vacant house and rescued along with a couple siblings. Olive is quite fearful of everything around her but is slowly coming out of her shell. She is learning how to be a normal dog, living with humans in a foster home. There are two cats in her foster home that she gets along with just fine. In fact, she sleeps on the bed with one of the cats.
We believe that Olive is a mixed breed of Labrador Retriever and Rottweiler although we cannot be certain since we have no idea who her parents were. She is young but has had at least one litter of pups. She has learned quickly to only potty outside and has never had an accident in the house. Her foster home is working on basic training commands such as no, sit, come, stay and leave it. Olive is also being crate trained. She isn't thrilled about it but will calm down after a little while.
Olive's coat is a soft, beautiful chocolate brown. She currently weighs about 31 pounds but is underweight so she'll possibly gain another 5-10 pounds. Olive is very smart and intuitive. As she continues to learn, she is going to be a very loyal addition to a new family.
