Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our six-seven month old handsome boy named Lance. Lance is a Weimaraner / lab mix. Loves children and was raised around cats. Lance is one of the happiest dogs. He loves everyone he meets and expects them to either wag their tail for him or bend down and give him hugs!
He has the cutest bob tail that wiggles all the time. We are not sure if he was born that way for lost it in an accident. Whatever the case, it just adds to his charm.
He weighs about 45 pounds and we expect him to grow more. If you have ever the expression " wouldn't hurt a fly", well that is Lance. Lance loves the water, is great off leash and would someone an excellent hiking / camping buddy.
Lance is in a foster home with other dogs, large and small. Lance is ready to meet his new family and call someplace HOME!
If you are interested in giving Lance a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions about the dogs at 901-651-6322 or Angela with questions about our adoption process at 203-909-8861.
Lance's adoption donation is $550. The transport fee is included in the adoption fee. The fee helps to cover the cost of neutering, shots, NexGard (flea/tick prevention). HeartGard (heart worm prevention), vet examination for health certificate.
Lance will travel to his new family by professional pet transport once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee / Minneapolis areas.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
