Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mike is a friendly, outgoing guy that loves to play and get love.
Foster Home Update May 27:
Mike is a big strong boy that loves to play. He likes to throw stuffies in the air and chase tennis balls around the house. He is a big fan of porkskin rawhide chews (Oinkies). He is very social with other greyhounds, trying endlessly to engage them in play. He listens well when he crosses the line, but doesn’t hold a grudge. He loves to greet you in the morning by plopping his big head on the bed and looking at you. He also loves to give hugs, and will lean into you hard. He has been trained to be interrupted in his sleep by our children, as well as petted while he is eating. He will bond hard with someone that will provide him good leadership and love.
Foster Home Update: Foster Mike aka “Big Mike” is a big loveable goof. He shreds stuffies in minutes and also loves playing with a ball, nudging it around the floor with his nose then pouncing on it like a kitten. He is quite eager for hugs and uses his head as a tool to get attention by wagging his head back and forth on me. He gets along fine with the resident girls Panda and Monkey. Monkey teases him regularly, stealing toys from him or nipping at his toes, and he takes it in stride (and he has a long stride). He has learned to use the dog door and stairs. He really wants to get on the human bed and pokes his nose up there every morning. He doesn’t like being left alone in a room and prefers to be invited if I go up or downstairs. However, when I’m not home and check the security cameras, I usually see him sleeping peacefully on a dog bed like the others.
