This positively charming young man is Hendrix, a 10 month old ridgeback/malinois mix that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a great home to grow up in. It's amazing that someone lost this darling puppy and never came to look for him, but he is safe and happy now, and hoping for the happy home that he deserves. Hendrix may come off as a bit nervous and barky if you see him in his kennel but please, ask to meet him outside. He is an absolute doll that should not be judged by his initial behavior. Hendrix is a little unsure of new people at first but all he needs is a minute or two to get to know you and he is such a mush. If you kneel down, Hendrix will come right over and sit next to you and bury his head in your arm. He is super sweet and affectionate. Hendrix is a curious and outgoing puppy and it seems he has not been exposed to much in his former home. He doesn't quite know what to make of toys but is getting a kick out of discovering what they're all about. He enjoys romping and running in our exercise yard and would love an active family with a nice yard to play in. Hendrix could get along with another dog given the time to get to know them, and he just adores people. Any great family would be lucky to welcome Hendrix into their lives. File#25911 1/14/16
