Welcome to America, Woodward! Woodward is about 4 month old and weighs 40 lbs. He will be a big boy when he’s grown. Woodward is a black/tan German Shepherd mix who was airlifted out of Kosovo. Yes, that’s right. We flew him half way around the world to give him a chance at a new life. He's a great dog, medium energy, housetrained, nice on the leash and good with SIT and working on DOWN. He doesn't require as much exercise as you would expect from a puppy his size . He loves his new foster family but he is also an independent boy and he can entertain himself. Although he is still a baby, he walks great on the leash and sleeps quietly in his crate all through the night. He gets excited about other dogs on the street just like any other puppy would. He's a beautiful boy, mellow gentle and quiet. We also have his sister Lolly and we need homes for both of them.
