Laney is 1-3 years of age..was found as a stray. She is fostered with kids, dogs and cats..she is up to date on shots and is microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $150 Guardians is a rescue that pulls dogs from death row or pregnant dogs that would have no other choice but to give birth at a germy shelter. They vet them and keep them safe. We then transfer them to a foster based rescue to put up for adoption or in some case adopt them out ourself. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laney, a Portage Corgi/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Portage, or seeking a Corgi/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Portage.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portage already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portage breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Corgi/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portage paves the way for another one to be saved.
