Chaplin's Story...
Chaplin is an 8 year old kitty still full of life and ready to find his forever home! Chaplin was found as a stray bu the finders were unable to keep him. Chaplin is a pretty mellow and friendly kitty that loves being around people. He would love a home that would let him snuggle up to people while they are in the couch enjoying a movie. Chaplin loves to explore any new place. He would prefer to be the only kitty in his new home but he is willing to tolerate another feline sibling as long as they leave him alone. His adoption fee is $45 and includes all his vaccines, registered microchip, fecal exam, deworming, FIV/Felv test, and neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chaplin, a Joliet Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Joliet, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
