Molly is a beautiful, 13 pound female Shih Tzu. We do not know her precise age, but the veterinarian estimated her to be around five years old. Molly came into rescue in pretty rough shape. She was very matted and had some severe skin issues due to neglect. After being fully vetted, having a dental and grooming, she is now healthy and feels just great. Her happy, fun personality has been revealed and she has lots of energy. She doesn’t really enjoy playing outside much in the cold, but she loves running around the house with squeaky toys and playing fetch. Molly is very playful, but she is also very affectionate and she loves sitting next to you on the couch and curling up next to you at night.
Molly would prefer a family who spends lots of time with her, as she thrives on being with people. She has done very well with her foster dog sibling and seems to like other dogs and get along with them well. She would also like an active family, as she would like long walks when the weather is better and having a family who will play with her and will include her in their daily activities. Molly also seems to like older, respectful children, and would make a great family dog for anyone with an active lifestyle where she could be included.
Molly is healthy, spayed, current on vaccinations, is microchipped, and on heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $270.00, plus $19.64 sales tax, for a total of $ $289.64. Her foster parents would like her adopters to live within a reasonable driving distance of the Twin Cities and encourage them to attend the Shih Tzu Rescue Reunion in September.
