Berkley's Story...
We would like you to meet Berkley!

Berkley is a very handsome 1 year old Lab/shepherd mix. Berkley is a very loving boy. He loves to get attention and hang out with his humans. This boy has lots of energy! So he needs an active family that will keep up with him. Berkley loves other dogs and would love a doggie companion to run around and play with! He is good with kids as well! Berkley is refreshing his memory on the whole house breaking thing, but with a set schedule and routine, his foster mama reported he is doing exceptionally well and almost has it all the way down!

Berkley is a sweet loving boy that will keep his new family smiling for many years to come.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Berkley, a Oxford Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Oxford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
