Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stallone is the biggest, strongest, sweetest goob around! He is a 1-2 year old pure bred Boxer that weighs about 65 lbs. He needs to put on weight and muscle, so we think his ideal weight would be around 80 lbs. He is a big, strong dog. He would be a perfect companion for an active person.
He is a smart, beautiful guy that will go for a car ride with you, hike through the woods or hang out at the lake.
Stallone lives in a foster home with other dogs and plays all day long! Stallone is potty trained.
When we rescued Stallone, he had an injury to his left eye. It has been treated but there is still some cloudiness in that eye. It will clear over time but probably will take several months.
If you are interested in giving Stallone a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions 901-651-6322 about the dogs or Angela with questions about our adoption process at 203-909-8861.
Stallone's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover his neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transportation.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
