Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Max is so ridiculously adorable that you can hardly stand it! He's an absolute doll with a personality to match. Max is only about 8 months old and this perfect pittie came to us from our Newark facility after being picked up as a stray. Max came bopping off the transport van all butt wiggles and nervous tail wags, and once he realized that he was in a good place, he began making friends everywhere he went. Max is a little shy upon first meeting and will hold his tail between his legs and flop on his belly, but just give him a minute or two and he'll be your best friend forever. He is super sweet and very affectionate and lovable. He is the submissive type that will roll on his back for a belly rub and hold his ears down until he sees you mean him no harm. Max is overjoyed to go for walks and check out the world around him and he is very playful and puppyish. He just loves toys and throws them around, squeaking up a storm. Since Max is still a puppy, he will need basic puppy trainig. Max will need a home with no cats but he can get along with another dog, given the time to get to know each other. The family that welcomes Max into their hearts and home will be a lucky one! File#25951 1/7/16
