My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. My name is Lux and I am a sweet, Southern beagle-mix female… approx. 6 yrs. old… that is looking for another place to live. I am a calm and well-mannered 32 lb. gal. My previous owners surrendered me to a shelter because they were moving and unable to take me with them. I was so sad & heartbroken and didn’t know what was gonna happen to me. When the shelter staff came to meet me, I wouldn’t make eye contact with them and just stared at the ground. It looks like I was well cared for and loved for at least part of my life, but it didn’t feel that way when I was at the shelter. I didn’t have any hope left in me until Penny Angels came along and rescued me when I was approaching my last days at the shelter. I traveled up to NJ from South Carolina on Saturday, 2-6-15, and was at Petsmart to meet everyone. I know that I have to start searching for my new home, but at least I will be safe in Rescue as I begin the next chapter of my life. Are you ready to start that next chapter with me?
