Shirley's Story...
The pitter-patter of little feet…that sweet puppy breath...that silly romping blur of fur and fun! Meet Shirley! She is a black lab mix puppy searching for her forever home! Saved from euthanasia along with her sister Judy, Shirley came to us as an itty bitty puppy. She has thrived in her foster home and is all you could ever wish for in a four legged friend. She is soft and sweet, eager to please, good with young children and loves all people and dogs!

Shirley is crate trained and paper trained and eating very well. She sleeps through the night and cries when she has to go to her papers. She is very playful and silly, but also snuggly and a good napper. She loves playing with toys and would be a great dog for an active family. She is growing every day as puppies do and we are estimating her to weigh about 65lbs. when full grown.

Shirley's adoption fee is $325.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shirley, a Warrenville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Warrenville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Warrenville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warrenville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warrenville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warrenville paves the way for another one to be saved.
