Snowflake's Story...
Hi my name is Snowflake. I am a 14 week old Lab mix puppy. I am Creamy/Yellow with a little bit of white on my chest and adorable! My siblings and I were born in foster care when our Mama was found at a kill shelter. Mommy was adopted and now that we are old enough it’s our turn. I like to spend my day playing with my siblings, eating and sleeping. All the things a young puppy likes to do. My foster Mom is teaching me this thing called “potty training” and the big dogs that live here are teaching me that too. I live in a home with lots of dogs, a cat and children - I get along with all of them. Come meet me! All you got to do is fill out an adoption application so that we can have our Meet & Greet - then I can have my forever home. See you soon, Snowflake

Snowflake is located in her foster home in Glen Ellyn. Please fill out an adoption application at: www.illinoisanimalrescue.org . Please visit our website to view our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snowflake, a Palatine Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
