Bishop's Story...
Bishop is a 4-5 yr old Pit that was unfortunately abandoned by his owner in an apartment. His wonderful neighbors stepped up and made sure he could get to a safe place. So far we are slowly getting to know him. He is very sweet around people. We will be testing him to see how he does with cats and dogs. He was once saved from a kill shelter, only to be abandoned yet again, none of it being his fault. Update coming soon!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email us your questions (RecycledTails@hotmail.com) or fill out an application (http://goo.gl/VLKtYw). Please do not call about the dog. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bishop, a Pottstown Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Pottstown, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Pottstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pottstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pottstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pottstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
