What do you get when you cross the lumbering beauty of a Newfie with the agility of a Border Collie? You get a big boy who can run circles around you! Buster was a small pup in pitiful condition when he showed up at someone's doorstep. He was practically hairless from neglect, covered in ticks, full of worms and nearly starved. But there was no way to tell Buster that he was in bad shape -- that little boy was happy as could be!! Thankfully the homeowner took pity on Buster, nurturing him with lots of love, excellent vet care and as much good food as he could eat! Who knew a gorgeous lush black coat awaited this boy? And those red tips -- a hairdresser's dream dog!! All along the way, Buster's joyful spirit has charmed everyone who's met him! He's friendly, playful, energetic and learns very quickly. He has a sweet temperament, with enough puppy mischief to keep everyone laughing! He's a bit of a herder, so cats and small dogs would have to enjoy a constant game of "Chase". He's also a bit of a bull in a China shop when playing, roughhousing a bit too much for smaller pets. Buster is about 7 months old, he weighs just under 50 pounds already with more to grow, and he's 100% super healthy. We're not sure what his true mix is, but he's sure to be a showstopper wherever you go!
