This beautiful young lady is Letty, a 10 month old border collie/lab mix that is hoping to get herself into a wonderful home of her own real soon. Letty had a home, but was surrendered to us because she has "too much energy". As you can imagine, Letty was a bit scared and shy when she arrived, having spent her whole life in a home, but once she realized that she was among friends, she loosened up completely and really let her hair down! Letty will still be a bit standoffish if you see her in her kennel though, so please ask to meet her outside. Letty makes friends very quickly and within 5 minutes of knowing her, she will have her head in your lap and will be smothering you with kisses. She is super sweet and craves attention. Letty is well behaved and is very gentle with taking treats and toys. She sits instantly when asked and although she is strong and energetic, she walks well on a leash with some direction. Letty is overjoyed to go in our exercise yard and is an expert retriever. She will bring back as many balls as you throw for her! Letty is fine with other dogs and grew up with children. She would love a home with a nice backyard to run and play in and a great family to give her all the love and attention that she deserves. File#25959 2/9/16
