Jenny's Story...
Hi everyone, my name is Jenny and I am a beautiful, big tortoiseshell girl. I was brought into the shelter by a lovely couple who had helped me out for the last two winters and they didn't want to see me out in the cold. I am very laid back and friendly and love to have pets and rubs. Since I am a big girl I have taken up residence in the boardroom at the shelter. So I get to hang out here and visit with lots of people and other small animals that come in to exercise. I am dewormed, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and litter box trained. Come on by the shelter and visit anytime, please call the adoption line at 705-458-9038.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenny, a Everett Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Everett, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Everett.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Everett already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Everett breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Everett paves the way for another one to be saved.
