Peppy is a very sweet, loving, dog, cat and people-friendly, seven-pound, seven-year-old, male fawn Chihuahua looking for a loving guardian.

Peppy was relinquished to Chicago Animal Care & Control by his family. He lived with another dog and children in his former home. He is such a fun little guy who dances for treats and takes them very gently from your fingers. He is housebroken and well-behaved in the home. He walks nicely on leash and has a happy little prance. He has a special love for women and little girls. He is currently living in a foster home with other dogs and dog-friendly cats. He would love to snuggle on the lap or near someone that works from home.

He’s happiest with calm dogs, and he’d also be find as an only dog.

Peppy is very healthy, de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, and heartworm-tested. He even had a dental.
