Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pepper is an 8 pound Terrier mix. She may have some Yorkie in her, or maybe some Westie. Her coat is coarse and parts of her face are salt-and-pepper with lots of Pepper (black) This tiny girl is about 3 years old and ended up at animal control. She was cold, wet and very frightened there. We got her out because she was in danger of being put down because she growled and snapped at the shelter staff when they reached into her stainless steel jail cell to get her out each day .
We got Pepper out, and she quickly settled into her foster mom's arms and licked her face. Pepper rode back to Atlanta in her lap or sat on the passenger seat, completely quiet and well-behaved. We don't know what Pepper's past has been, but suspect that someone was cruel to Pepper. She is very defensive if you pat her rear end or tug on her collar. She is getting more and more tolerant of being handled each day, and loves to snuggle up next to you on your bed at night. Pepper is starting to play with soft squeaky toys. We suspect that the best is yet to come with this tiny pooch.
So far, Pepper has demonstrated that she is house broken. She gets along fine with other dogs, but really doesn't want to play with them. People are her primary interest.
Pepper has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please write us at PricelessPets4u@gmail.com and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization, and the adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we can schedule a time for you to meet this pet.
