Hello, my name is Bella! I'm the sweetest puppy there is. I was born in late July 2015. I love everyone! I love to be petted and cuddled. I am kind and I have a soft soul. I love praise and being told, "I'm a good girl." I listen well and I'm smart. I know lots of great things, like sit and shake, and I'm a people pleaser. I enjoy playing with toys and with other dogs. I'm good with cats, too. I am fully housetrained and crate trained, too. I'm a really good girl who will steal your heart, so prepare to fall in love! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $115. Adoption event dates for 2016: April 2, April 16, May 7, May 21, June 4, June 18, July 2, July 16, August 6, August 20, September 3, September 17, October 1, October 15, November 5, November 19, December 3 and December 17.
Saturday, April 9: Adoption Event at Suburban Subaru of Troy, 1820 Maplelawn Dr, Troy, Michigan 48084. From noon to 3 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). We will also have items for sale, such as dog coats, Scentsy, homemade jam, baked goods and more. All proceeds benefit the homeless pets of PFL Rescue.
Sunday, April 24: Adoption Event at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event) on the last Sunday of every month. Event dates for 2016: (no event in March due to holiday), April 24, May 22, June 26, July 24, August 28, September 25, October 23, November 27 and December 18.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of dogs is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog
as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
Why is labeling a dog such a big deal? A label will stick with a dog for the rest of its life. A label can mean discrimination, losing its home or even death. Labels are a problem for the dogs when we, as the local experts on animals, allow adopters, politicians and community members to think that the label we assign can predict who that dog is or will be.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
