My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Candi is a beautiful shepherd mix pup. She is 11-12 weeks old. Candi is such a sweet dog. She is a friend to every foster dog and always is so well behaved but very friendly and playful.

Candi has such a beautiful face and her coat is beautiful.. She has very large bones and huge feet. SUPER sweet and would not hurt a fly. Candi is working on her potty skills in her foster home and she is ready for her real HOME.

If you are interested in giving Candi a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly (901)651-6322 with questions about the dogs or Angela with questions about our adoption process 203-909-8861.

Candi's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and the transportation costs.

Candi is living with a foster family in Tennessee. She will travel to her new home once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago/ Milwaukee / Minneapolis areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
