Ginger's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ginger's Story...
Ginger is a 16 month, purebred beagle who just couldn't cut it in the competitive world of hunting rabbits! She is much more suited to romping around with other dogs and napping in the great indoors!

After being kept as an "outdoor dog," Ginger is studying hard to master the fine arts of cuddling, watching TV and house training. She is a quick learner and is she to bring joy to her new home!

$175.00 adoption donation ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Staunton Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
