Gooseberry's Story...
Goose is a very small little beagle who prances when he walks and is always on the go. He is a little shy but is becoming more and more social everyday. He loves toys and when called, will usually come to see you with a toy in his mouth as if to say "I'm busy now, I'll check back with you later." When day is done, he sleeps soundly and seems to know that his life has changed for the better. He really is a sweet, sweet boy that truly enjoys and is happier with another dog.

Adoptive Status: Will be neutered, UTD on shots and micro-chipped .

Dream Home Minimum Requirements: Goose would love to have a home with at least one other non-aggressive dog.

Owner Aptitude Level: Intermediate. Adopter must be patient with this sweet shy dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gooseberry, a Waldorf Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
