Inca's Story...
We would like you to meet Inca!
Inca is a 1 year old Border Collie mix. We placed her two sisters (Eden and Echo) a few months ago, but Inca had to wait for her forever family, because she had to complete Heart worm treatment. This cutie healthy and ready to go now! She is a little girl, only weighing in at about 25 pounds. Inca is good with other dogs and kids. She has never been around cats but with slow proper introduction, we believe she will be fine with them. She is house broken and crate trained, though Inca's foster leaves her out and she's never had an accident.
Inca would love a family to call her own.
If you have room in your home and heart, please email

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Inca, a Oxford Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Oxford, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
